Well, we didnt make the picnic afterall. So annoyed!!
I still havent taken pictures of the costumes I made for my daughter and myself, hopefully that will be done soon.

- I am married with 3 kids. I own and run (with help from 3 staff and hubby) my own Fancy Dress Hire business in Penrith. I started the business from scratch and it has been in our lives since 1995. I am a self taught sewer, with a good eye for how things can be replicated & with the help of a pattern making book kept from the Textiles & Design yr 11 class I did years + ago, I can do basic pattern making. Ready made patterns are easier, but dont always do what you want them to do. I love it when a customer asks for a costume that I dont already have, if I think that it could be popular or just because I like the idea , I will make it for them to hire. ( Duck Dodgers is a perfect example-for those who dont know, he is a daffey duck character and with his Porky Pig side kick, they fight against Marvin the Martian) I have rediscovered the ACG, so now I have people with like interests to share my ideas, questions etc, without them having their eyes glaze over in disinterest, sigh... and it also gives me dress up opportunities..just because....
